The Starliner Love Story

The Starliner Love Story is dedicated to Lucinda Ann Reed, beautiful wife, mother and friend. Written on 2-12-01, the story is intended to pay tribute to Robert E. Bourke who was responsible for the design of the 1953 Studebaker Starliner Sports Coupe, the car which won great acclaim as being one of the world’s most beautiful and elegant motor cars at the 1953 Paris Auto Show. The thought and design of the article is intended to display true experience of a young couple falling in love in the 50’s with the help of this stylish car. Hopefully this will also serve to show that a man with a strong mechanical aptitude can also be sensitive, loving and show a loving lady that he can properly appreciate her while still enjoying cars. 26 pages.
