A Visit with Mr. Lincoln

Kick off your holiday season with a visit from America’s sixteenth president!

Join us Saturday, December 9, as Kevin Wood, professional Lincoln portrayer, allows listeners to get up close and personal with the life story of Abraham Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln plans to speak about growing up on the frontier, his family, his lack of formal education, his love of reading and his great desire to learn, the different kinds of jobs he had, what our country was like back then, how he got his nickname “Honest Abe”, why he grows a beard, what he keeps inside his hat, what it’s like to be President, his boys’ experiences living in the White House, Lincoln family Christmas traditions and more! This program is the ideal event for families looking to hear a fascinating part of American history!

After hearing Mr. Lincoln’s talk, visitors will have the opportunity for a themed craft followed by a photo with President Lincoln next to the Lincoln carriage!

This ticketed program includes admission to the Studebaker National Museum. Adults – $10, Members – $5, Children 12 and Under Free.
