Driven by Design STEM Racetrack
Driven to Design is educational program that features a derby-style racetrack, track equipment, LEGO components, and supporting hardware. Students are challenged to build a LEGO race car, using Studebaker vehicles as their inspiration, and race their creations down the track. The students are then encouraged to refine or change their designs, based on their car’s performance. The program utilizes open-ended prompts and suggestions to help students think through the engineering design process and learn important STEM skills.  You can find the lesson plan by clicking this link.
