The Arrival of the Studebaker Junior Wagon
Are you considering visiting the Museum but do not want your young child to walk the whole time? Well now you can transport your child through the Museum in a reproduction Studebaker Junior Wagon. Studebaker Juniors were originally produced by The South Bend Toy Company from the turn of the century until World War II.
The Junior Wagon is available, at no additional charge (two hour maximum), for families to transport one child between the age of five and under around The Studebaker National Museum.
Due to the fact that there is only one wagon available, the Junior Wagon is offered on a first come, first served basis and is located at the information desk. This unique experience was made possible by Dale and Karen Dyer.
To continue your child’s history learning experience, head on over to the Center for History’s Kidsfirst Children’s Museum. Your child can imagine growing up in a log cabin, pretend to be a pioneer and explore a Native American village. The family-based Kidsfirst Children’s Museum is dedicated to the education of young children through hands-on, creative, interactive play. So stop on by The Studebaker National Museum today for a fun filled adventure with your child that they are sure to enjoy!
